You’ve got the chance to compete in a beach volleyball match at the incredible Rothenbaum-Stadium in front of several thousand spectators all thanks to Red Bull!

‘Your road to Rothenbaum’ begins with a qualification tournament (12 teams per gender) on Friday August 17 at 10am at the Beach Hamburg. On Sunday the August 19, the tournament concludes at the Beach Volleyball FIVB World Tour Finals, where you will face your ultimate final match which takes place between the men’s semifinal and bronze medal match. You also stand the chance to win a main draw spot at the ‘Your road to Rothenbaum’ 2019 which is set to take place during the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships Hamburg 2019!

Participating teams will be provided with accommodation including breakfast from Friday till Sunday as well as meals over the weekend.

Who is allowed to join?

Everybody between the ages of 16 and 21 years old at the time of the tournament.

Which teams will be chosen to participate?

We are going to select 12 teams per gender, four teams will be selected from the Hamburger Studentenschaft and eight teams are open for general registrations. Out of these eight teams, we are going to select one team per age group. The selection is also based on how many DVV-Points you or your teammate have collected during the eligible period.

If you and your teammate are of different ages, e.g. 16 and 18, you will be placed in the 17 year old age group.
