Check out thrilling Thursday!

Don’t miss these must-see games on day two…

Anders Mol and Christian Sørum will be aiming to extend their unbeaten run even further on ThursdayAnders Mol and Christian Sørum will be aiming to extend their unbeaten run even further on Thursday

It’s the second day of the Beach Volleyball FIVB World Tour Finals and the race to reach the elimination stages in Hamburg really hots up with a host of teams battling to stay in the tournament and avoid an early exit.

There are 14 huge matches that take center stage but with so many top teams in action, it’s tough to choose which games to settle down in front of BeachStream and watch.

With that in mind, and to make your viewing pleasure easier, we’ve narrowed that list of games down to five that you can’t afford to miss…

Who? Laboureur/Sude v Summer/Hughes

Where? Red Bull Beach Arena

When? 2pm CEST

Why? There are high hopes for Germany’s Chantal Laboureur and Julia Sude in Hamburg this year but the home favorites won’t have an easier first assignment on home sand than this one. Americans Summer Ross and Sara Hughes might have lost their opening match of the tournament on Wednesday, but the pair came into the event having won their first World Tour event in Moscow last time out.

Who? Agatha/Duda v Humana-Paredes/Pavan

Where? Court 2

When? 3pm CEST

Why? Last season’s silver medalists Agatha and Duda bounced back from losing the first set against Bieneck/Schneider to win their first match of the tournament on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Canadians and Gstaad Major champions Melissa and Sarah lost their first game, going down to Australians Taliqua Clancy and Mariafe Artacho. The North Americans will have to dig deep to get their tournament up and running, but can take heart from the fact they lead 3-2 in the head-to-head meetings.

Who? Kantor/Losiak v Nicolai/Lupo

Where? Red Bull Beach Arena

When? 5pm CEST

Why? A world-class match-up pits two of the top teams on the planet together. Both teams can be considered as sports’ entertainers and they go into the match having shared two victories apiece. Kantor/Losiak won both of their games on Wednesday, while Lupo/Nicolai got the better of Samoilovs/Smedins. One team will win, but who will lose their unbeaten record?

Who? Mol/Sørum v Herrera/Gavira

Where? Red Bull Beach Arena

When? 6pm CEST

Why? After 20 successive victories, confidence is high in the Beach Volley Vikings’ camp. Anders and Christian have looked invincible, winning the last three tournaments without losing. The Norwegians face Plavins/Tocs early on Thursday morning, but the second of their two scheduled matches, against Spaniards Herrera/Gavira looks a real thriller. It’s a repeat of the Gstaad Major final – but who will come out on top this time?

Who? Hermannová/Sluková v Bieneck/Schneider

Where? Red Bull Beach Arena

When? 9pm

Why? The Czech stars were the queens of Vienna when picking up their first Major gold two weeks ago and now they start their quest for Finals glory. Their final match on day two comes against Germany’s Victoria and Isabel, who will be aiming to bounce back after their defeat to Brazil on Wednesday. With the crowd behind them, can the local heroes claim their first win of the tournament?

Remember every match from the Hamburg Finals is available to watch live on BeachStream – so whether it’s these five games, or all 14 matches, sign-up now to check out the action.
